General Manager and Director of Tennis: DAVID MARSHALL
David has spent over 15 years in professional tennis, directing tennis programs and offering professional instructions at area clubs including: The Tennis Hall of Fame, Shuttle Meadow Country Club, and Farmington Valley Racquet Club. David coaches adult and junior players at all levels, from club to elite.
David was a former top-ranked junior tennis player in New England, with a ranking as high as #2 in singles and #1 in doubles. David played college tennis at Assumption College in Worcester, MA, winning the title “Northeast-10 Freshman of the Year” as well as receiving all-conference awards each year. David graduated in 2007 with a degree in Management, and an individual record of 45-7 in singles and 54-8 in doubles.
David continues his love of tennis through teaching adults and children. His passion for tennis is evident as he works with his students to strive for excellence on the court.
Junior Tennis Director and Assistant Professional: TORR TERRANOVA
Torr Terranova is originally from Madison CT. He played college tennis at Saint Michael's College in Colchester VT from 2004-2008, receiving the Coach’s Award in 2006 and earning Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team as a senior in 2008. He graduated in 2008 with a degree in Economics.
Torr has coached tennis players throughout Connecticut of all ages and ability. He has taught tennis at several area clubs including The Guilford Racquet & Swim Club, The Madison Beach Club, and Manchester Racquet Club.
Torr is currently the assistant coach of both the men's and women's tennis programs at Quinnipiac University. Prior to joining QU, Torr has coached and directed the tennis programs at the University of Hartford for 5 years. He also has experience with the varsity girls' tennis at Weston High School, where he led the team to a 2011 Connecticut state championship and was named Girls’ Tennis Coach of the Year by the Connecticut Post.
Director Of Swimming: SCOTT FERRIGNO
Scott Ferrigno has over 14 years of being a pool director. He currently lives in Farmington CT, where he works for the high school. Scott is the Head Monitor for Farmington High School, as well as their swimming and diving coach. He also coaches girls track in the spring.
Scott has won the CHSCA coach of the year twice, along with the CAS/CIAC coach of the year. He has 26 swimming/diving titles and 4 girls track titles under his leadership.
Coach Ferrigno began his swimming career at North Haven, where he was All-State. He continued his swimming and diving success at CCSU.
Event Planner: Diane Hacker
Diane Hacker has joined FFC and is looking forward to creating fun and meaningful opportunities for members of all ages. Her background and previous experiences include, growing up in Westfield, MA and attended college at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she graduated with a BA in Psychology and concentration in Social Work.
Currently residing in Farmington with her family. She has coached a few seasons of youth soccer teams and have participated in various positions on the Board of Directors for both their pre-schools and elementary school.
Diane has helped to raise significant funds for the PTO in the last four years having successfully chaired golf- tournaments, wine tastings/silent auctions, community festivals and multi-cultural awareness events. She truly enjoys planning group & fundraising activities and has found a nice work-life balance through part-time employment and volunteering. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer, hiking & casual bike riding, watching her children’s sporting events, playing outdoor yard games and grilling with family & friends.
